Wind Crossing Grasses--first poetry anthology from the press

First book from Kinship Poetry Press After years of hard work, "Wind Crossing Grasses: poems from China’s dragon rivers" is all set for publication on May 1, 2026. It has 150 images from the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers, over 60 poets from the two dragon rivers, including Bei Dao, Zhai Yongming, Xi Chuan, and new poets from Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Chongqing and China’s vast remote regions on the north and west borders. I’ve planned the launch readings in China during March: Beijing, Hohhot, Qingdao, Nanjing, Shanghai, Chongqing…first 1000 hardcovers are almost sold out. The preview books from IgramSpark and Amazon are on the way. I can’t wait to hold the book against my heart. Order will be ready soon on IgramSpark and Amazon for paperback and Ebook. For the hardcover with color images, you'll have to come to the readings in the twincities (April 26, Sunday), NYC and Boston. I’ve just brought them from China, and will offer them at 30% discount. Or mail order, with the same discount. What a beautiful way for poets and readers to travel, feel and understand China and its culture through this anthology of amazing poems and images! I know the book will thrill and inspire you immensely. I've learned so much about production aspect of publication, from layout, design, covers, to move through the maze of IngramSpark and Amazon. But I did it, with the help from all the following amazing teammates: Gary Snyder (introduction) Paul Hoover (advisory editor) Jeff Lambert (design, layout, copy edit) Jacquelyn Song (design, layout, copy edit) poets and friends in China Want to be among the first to know when orders open and events are announced?
